第42回ナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワード結果発表、2019年はマーク・ヤマナカが最優秀アルバム賞など5部門受賞

ハワイ時間2019年5月25日（土） 、オアフ島ホノルルのハワイ・コンベンション・センターで「第42回ナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワード」が開催され、各賞の受賞者・受賞作品が発表された。

2019年はハワイ島出身のマーク・ヤマナカ（Mark Yamanaka）が、 アルバム「Lei Lehua」で最優秀アルバム賞、 最優秀アイランドミュージックアルバム賞、最優秀楽曲賞、最優秀シングル賞、最優秀男性ボーカリスト賞の5部門を受賞。

ナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワード（Na Hoku Hanohano Awards）は、ハワイ最大の音楽賞で「ハワイのグラミー賞」と呼ばれることもある。

授賞式ではハワイのさまざまな音楽ジャンルのアーティストによるコラボレーションステージも開催。 今年はイベント一週間前にはチケットが完売となり、会場には1,500人以上のハワイアン音楽ファンが集まった。
