ハワイ州の歌

州歌「ハワイ・ポノイ（Hawai'i Pono'i）」

現在、ハワイの歌となっている「ハワイ・ポノイ」は、ハワイ王国の第7代国王であったカラカウア王が作詞、王国の楽団指揮者であったヘンリ・バーガー（Henri Berger）が作曲した歌です。

1876年から1893までハワイ王国の国歌でした。カラカウア王が在位していたのが、1874年から1891年なので、この期間をまたいでることになります。 1967年にハワイ州の歌として議会が承認しています。

ちなみに日本にも都道府県の歌があります。 自分の住んでいる都道府県に歌があること、ご存知でしたか？
